Terms of Use Specific to Pilates and other exercises delivered on www.jourdanpilates.com
Please advise us before any session if your health or ability changes.

Pilates exercises are very safe, but if you have answered YES to any of the questions above, we advise you to consult with your medical practitioner before you start practising Pilates.

It is not advised to practise Pilates between weeks 8 – 16 of pregnancy, or until 6 weeks after giving birth.

Pilates sessions are not a substitute for medical counsel or treatment. If you have any doubt about the suitability of any Pilates exercise, you are encouraged to refer back to your medical practitioner.

The instructor cannot accept liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if:

Your medical practitioner has, on health grounds, advised you against such exercises.

You fail to observe the instructions on safety and technique.

The negligence of another participant causes such injury during a session.

Exercises should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable for you. Please inform the instructor immediately if you feel pain or discomfort during a session.
